20th Annual SE MN Lakeland Customer Appreciation Outing
To celebrate and thank Lakeland customers, Lakeland holds customer appreciation outings during the summer months. This year, Lakeland celebrated the 22nd Annual Customer Appreciation Outing and most recently, the 20th Annual SE MN Outing. The SE MN Customer Appreciation outing took place on Thursday, August 22 at The Jewel Golf Club in Lake City, MN. Due to the tremendous support from customers and suppliers, this event was again a great success.
The 2019 outing brought an overwhelming amount of supplier sponsorship, door prizes and big prize items. There were approximately 70 golfers in attendance including customers from southern Minnesota and suppliers from across the U.S. Some customers and suppliers joined for dinner as well, bringing a crowd of approximately 85 people total to join in the celebration after the tournament.
18-hole Scramble, Awards, Prizes and Food
With the perfect temperature for an 18-hole scramble on a beautiful course, the 4-person teams enjoyed networking with fellow customers, suppliers and Lakeland employees. The day began with an open driving range and lunch prior to the 12pm shotgun start. The teams enjoyed 8 on-course contests sponsored by Lakeland suppliers including longest drive, closest to the pin and more.
After the tournament, additional customers came for the anticipated prime rib and chicken dinner inside The Jewel. While attendees enjoyed their dinner, awards were presented for the top three teams, last place team and winners of the on-course contests. Lakeland also drew customer names for the supplier donated and Lakeland donated door prizes. Some of these prizes included gift cards, Pelican and Coho coolers, a kayak, YETI mugs and more.
