Lakeland Engineering Names Ken Chamberlain President 

Chamberlain brings 30 years of industrial experience to a growing team 

MINNEAPOLISAugust 20, 2026 – Lakeland Engineering Equipment Company has named Ken Chamberlain President, effective July 28, 2026.

Chamberlain joined Lakeland Engineering in April of 2025 as General Manager of the company’s Omaha location while also providing leadership for its Kansas City operations. Since joining the organization, he has focused on strengthening customer relationships, supporting employees, and driving operational growth across both locations. 

Before joining Lakeland, Chamberlain built more than 30 years of experience in the electrical distribution and manufacturing industries. His professional career, combined with his military service, and experience serving as Mayor of Wayne, Nebraska, has shaped a strong foundation of leadership, strategic thinking, and commitment to community development.

As President, Chamberlain will have overall responsibility for Lakeland Engineering’s sales, operations, and financial performance across its four locations. He will lead the company’s continued growth strategy while reinforcing Lakeland’s long-standing commitment to exceptional customer service and employee development. Chamberlain is passionate about investing in Lakeland’s talented team and expanding the opportunities for employees, customers, and supplier partners as the company continues to grow.
