We’re excited to welcome Ali Holmes to the Lakeland Engineering team as our new Director of Strategic Operations, based in our Omaha office. In her role, Ali focuses on improving efficiency across the organization while supporting our sales team, helping them stay focused on what they do best: building customer relationships and growing the business.
“I was really drawn to Lakeland because it’s a family-owned company with strong values. That kind of environment matters a lot to me, and it’s something I’m excited to be a part of.”
Experience, Passion, and Growth
With more than a decade of experience in distribution, Ali brings a strong background in electrical distribution, operations, analytics, profitability, and process improvement. Her passion lies in finding ways to make processes work better and helping teams operate more effectively. One of the strengths she brings is her ability to improve efficiency and maintain organization, creating systems that help everyone succeed.
Ali’s connection to the electrical industry began at an early age. At just 14 years old, she attended an electricity camp and was later selected to meet with state representatives in Washington, D.C. That experience sparked a lifelong interest in the field, “That’s when it really clicked for me. Electricity isn’t just important, it’s essential to how we live and grow as a society.”
As she begins her journey at Lakeland, Ali is looking forward to learning, building strong relationships, and growing alongside the team.
Life Outside the Office
Outside of work, Ali enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, camping, kayaking, and exploring with her family. She and her husband, Sebastien, have a two-year-old son, Owen, who keeps them busy with trips to zoos, state parks, and museums. Their two dogs, Lila and Marley, are never far from her side and are considered part of every adventure. Ali is always ready for her next adventure, whether that’s skydiving or backpacking through Alaska!
Please join us in welcoming Ali to the Lakeland Engineering family. We’re excited to have her on board and look forward to the impact she’ll make across the organization.
