Lakeland Engineering is excited to welcome Andrew Tuggle to our Kansas City team as an Account Manager. In his role, Andrew works directly with customers to understand their needs, find the right solutions and provide excellent customer service.
Although Andrew is new to the electrical and industrial industry, he brings years of experience working with customers and building strong relationships. He was drawn to Lakeland’s long history of success and the opportunity to join a company where relationships and customer service are a priority. He’s looking forward to learning a new industry while growing the business and getting to know customers throughout his territory.
A Competitive Spirit & Customer-First Approach
Andrew says he brings two qualities to the team: patience and a competitive attitude. Patience comes from raising his two young children, while his competitive side comes from a lifetime of playing sports, including college football at Pittsburg State University. Andrew played in a National Championship game during his sophomore year and, while the team came up short, he also won a high school football State Championship at Blue Springs High School and was named Missouri’s Gatorade Player of the Year.
Andrew enjoys getting to know his customers and takes pride in building strong relationships that last. He’s looking forward to putting that relationship-first approach to work as he grows Lakeland’s business in the Kansas City area.
Life Outside of Lakeland
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys following the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals and University of Missouri football and basketball. He also spends plenty of time at his family’s 275-acre farm in northeast Missouri, where he enjoys hunting and maintaining the property.
At home, Andrew and his wife, Ali, stay busy with their two children, 2-year-old Archer and almost 5-year-old Amelia, along with their 10-year-old German Shepherd, KC. The family enjoys walks, trips to the park and, as Andrew puts it, “really messing the house up with lots of toys!”
And if something needs fixing around the house or on his truck, Andrew is probably going to handle it himself. His philosophy? “I can fix most anything by watching YouTube! I will NOT pay someone to come fix something for me.”
We’re excited to have Andrew on the Lakeland team and look forward to seeing him build relationships and grow our presence in the Kansas City area.
