ASCO 214 & 215 Series: Proven Reliability, Now Even Better

At Lakeland Engineering, we’ve worked with the ASCO 214 and ASCO 215 long enough to know they’re dependable. They’ve been the quiet workhorses in countless systems — turning on, shutting off, and managing flow without drama.

So here’s the question ASCO presented to us that had us curious: What happens when you take something proven… and ask, “What could make this even better?”

That’s exactly what went into the design of the new ASCO 214 Series and ASCO 215 Series Solenoid Operated Safety Shutoff Valves. They keep everything you already rely on — core performance, rugged durability, and a perfect fit — but now come with subtle, meaningful upgrades that open new possibilities.

What’s New with the 214 Series

The new 214 Series builds on the trusted 8214 design with improvements that make it even more capable:

  • Mounting flanges now optional across the range

  • Type 4X Watertight rating and FM safety shut-off valve certification for all sizes

What’s New with the 215 Series

The 215 Series takes the proven 8215 model and boosts performance for today’s needs:

  • Proof of Closure & Visual Indication offered for the first time
  • Expanded temperature range now from -4 °F to 120 °F (-20 °C to 52 °C)
  • Type 4X Watertight enclosure and FM certification for all sizes
  • Mounting flanges option now offered
  • 1/8” NPT pipe taps with plugs for leakages and/or pressure testing now offered
  • Inclusion of High-Flow options

Why This Matters

  • No retraining or re-engineering — just better performance where you already know it counts.

  • Future-ready design so your systems can meet evolving industry demands.

  • Easy system refresh without expensive rip-and-replace projects.

They’re the same dependable valves you’ve counted on — just tuned up with better performance and a few smart upgrades.
